A go-to-market plan for Etched

Who buys a transformer ASIC, what the wedge against NVIDIA looks like, and a target account list with reasoning.

The product in one paragraph

TODO — what Sohu is, in plain language, without repeating their marketing. If you cannot explain the tradeoff (fixed architecture, enormous throughput on that architecture, useless off it) in three sentences, you do not understand it well enough to sell it yet.

Who actually buys this

TODO — define the ICP properly. Not “AI companies.” Something like: companies whose inference bill is a top-three line item, whose workload is stable enough to justify fixed silicon, and who have the engineering capacity to port.

Then write down who is disqualified and why. A GTM plan that excludes nobody is not a plan.

The wedge

TODO — nobody displaces NVIDIA head-on. What is the specific opening?

Frame it as a question the buyer is already asking themselves, not as a feature comparison table.

Target accounts

TODO — build a table of 15 to 20 named companies. Three columns: company, why they fit the ICP, and the specific trigger that makes now the right time to call them. The trigger column is the one that shows judgment. Anyone can list AI companies.

Company Why they fit Trigger
TODO TODO TODO

Outbound

TODO — write one actual cold email. Not a template with brackets, a real one addressed to a real role at a real company. Then explain why it is written that way.

Then the follow-up sequence, and what you would do differently on the second and third touch.

The three objections

TODO — write the objections a buyer would genuinely raise, and answer them honestly. If your answer to an objection is “actually that’s a strength,” you have not written a real objection.

  1. TODO
  2. TODO
  3. TODO

What I would want to know

TODO — end with the questions you cannot answer from outside. This is the strongest possible closing for an application artifact: it shows you know the limits of an outside view and gives the hiring manager something to talk to you about.
